At 10 am a free lesson/lecture by noted local bridge players is open to all - plan to get there a bit early, grab a cup of joe, and sit in on one of the following:

  • Thursday - Marty Nathan - Introduction to Signals
  • Friday - Patty Tucker - Help Suit Game Tries
  • Saturday - Bob Jones - Bidding and play discussion using hands from this tournament
     
  • New start times at 10:45 that help avoid the hassle of rush hour traffic.
  • Play bridge in a sectional like no other. All silver points at a tournament that looks, feels and acts like a regional.
  • Unit 253/DBAA Open, Flight B, and Non-Life Master Pairs Championships on Saturday: it's open to all regardless of Unit affiliation.
  • Two 3-session knockout events plus one compact knockout. Play in groups with your peers.
  • Lots of strati-flighted events including NLM 0-50 and 0-500 MP games, catering to players with varying masterpoint totals.
  • Newcomers and intermediates will enjoy unprecedented opportunities at a sectional including free lessons, trophies and more!
  • Free 30-minute lesson at 10 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
  • Evening sessions: 18 boards, discounted entry fees and refreshments.
